Embrace Today as Tomorrow May Never Be

Published by happeningtome at 11:52 pm under Something to think about Edit This

Holding grudges can pass you up on opportunities!

Have you ever held a grudge and been so stubborn headed to let a situation pass you by?

Let’s take work for example.  I know we’ve all had that “one” person that we didn’t get along with.  Let’s say the perfect job became available but you may have to work for or with that person.  Do you let the opportunity pass you by?  I have talked myself out of applying for positions within my company because of fear of what someone will think or say, only to find out this.

  1.      You never know who (of higher influence) may have suggested your name as an applicant.
  2.      People can change.  Their negative influence could have been directed by someone else edging them on.
  3.      Remember your work ethics!  This person could one day report to you or vice verse.
  4.      You are the only one who can stand in the way of your happiness!

Let’s talk about home.  Family is crazy!  It’s amazing how people let the days pass on by because of how busy we are.  We have a number of excuses not to take the time or in some instances we purposely find excuses not to communicate or resolve issues with our family.  Then something happens, worst case example…. Death!  It’s permanent!  There’s no turning back on that.  You can’t make up for lost time.  You sulk over I wish I woulda…coulda.. bottom line is you didn’t!

My question to you is… Why wait?  Why not embrace today as tomorrow may never be.

I came across this poem written by lili dauphin.

This is a reminder to stay positive and be happy no matter what we may be going through.

Everyday be inspired

Seek self-empowerment

Be grateful for your life

Surround yourself with good humans or be alone

Change your thoughts

Be of service to others

Take responsibility for your life

 Take care of your health

 Be hopeful and content

Love yourself

Forgive, forgive and forgive!

Laugh, laugh and laugh until your tummy aches
